The families and staff of FBACC are mourning the loss of a cherished member of their church family, Cesilie Huebner, who passed away this week. Known for her gentle spirit, dedication, and love for children, Cesilie’s passing has left a deep sense of sorrow among those who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.
Cesilie faithfully served as a Creation Corner teacher, where she helped nurture and guide young children during their early years of faith and development. Her patience, kindness, and genuine care made a lasting impact on countless families. Parents remember her as someone who created a warm and welcoming environment, while colleagues recall her unwavering commitment and compassionate heart.
To honor Cesilie’s life and allow staff members to attend her visitation and funeral service, which will be held Thursday afternoon at FBCO, FBACC has announced an adjusted schedule. On Thursday, families are asked to pick up their children at 11:30 a.m. instead of the usual 2:30 p.m. Pick-up will take place at the same designated doors, and families are not required to send lunch with their children that day.
Church leadership expressed sincere apologies for any inconvenience the schedule change may cause but emphasized the importance of coming together to honor Cesilie’s life and legacy. Allowing teachers and staff to attend the service ensures they can pay their respects and celebrate the meaningful contributions she made to the church and its youngest members.
